About Alicyn Alicyn was raised in Hanson, a small town located on the South Shore of Massachusetts. From an early age she embraced the stage and enjoyed performing for others, involving herself in school pays, musical productions and community theater. These experiences planted the seeds for what would become Alicyn's lifelong passion. Yet it wasn't until she attended Boston's Emerson College that her interest turned to the screen. During her time in Boston, Alicyn studied with acclaimed acting coach Peter Kelley, whom she cedits for awakening within her a love and understanding of the process of film acting. As a result of her training, Alicyn starred in over 14 student productions and garnered a "Best Female Performance" nomination from Emerson's prestigious EVVY committee of local industry professionals. Taking advantage of Emerson's world-class radio and recording facilities, Alicyn became active at WERS-FM, working as an on-air DJ for four years. Her trademark warm, sensual voice led to many local opportunities as a voiceover artist, including numerous commercials and radio promos, as well as an eight-month stint as the voice of Prentice Hall's interactive textbooks. Momentum constantly building, Alicyn's well of experience is getting deeper. She has contributed to many projects during her short time in Los Angeles. Alicyn currently landed a supporting role in the SAG feature length comedy Alondra Smiles, which is in pre-production. She recently co-starred in a feature film along side Jerri Manthey, had a co-starring role on FOX Television's America's Most Wanted, and can be seen performing long-form improv comedy at IO West.
