About
Anna Anna was born in Finland and raised with her younger brother on a dairy farm. In 1989, at the age of twelve, Anna attended modeling school and began her career as a model. After winning a national modeling contest and appearing in her first magazine cover in Finland, Anna signed her first modeling contract for a job in Tokyo. Anna stayed in Asia for close to three years, and modeled for numerous companies (Sony, Jockey, Phillips, Marie Claire, Hermes, Oricom, Kanebo, Naris, NEC, Lux, Nissen and BYC). She also worked on various television commercials and music videos, worked as a house model for designer Akira Kimijima, had a yearly contract with a Japanese cosmetics company, and was a Navi Connection Racing Team Girl. After her Asian tour Anna worked as a model in New Zealand, Hawaii and all across Europe. In 1998, after modeling in Miami, Anna left the entertainment industry, went to Bratislava, Slovak Republic to conduct a comparative legal research study on the different aspects of asylum procedures in selected European countries for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) office in Slovakia. Annas research impacted the Slovak National Asylum Legislation, which was in the process of amendment. After finishing her project for UNHCR, Anna continued her work in Bratislava with an international partner of The Foundation for a Civil Society (USA), where she was involved in the Citizen Campaign OK 98. Anna returned to the entertainment industry the following year in Chicago. She worked in a few films and stage plays, her favorite role being the Sleeping Beauty. She always jokingly says that it was type-casting, as she was cast as a princess. Recently you may have seen her print work for: Coca-Cola, Nordstroms, Hint Mint, Subaru, Budweiser, Heinz, Kyocera, Listerine, Robinsons May, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Chicago Tribune, Caesars Palace, Target, Sears, Crate & Barrel, Lean Pockets, Sun Beam, Motorola, Barona Casino, Brookstone, and Marriot Hotels. After a second cold winter in Chicago, Anna drove across the country and arrived in Hollywood. She has appeared in roles in Days Of Our Lives, Law & Order, Inside Schwartz, and Lets Make a Deal on NBC, Fashion 101 on E!, Beach Week and LA Poker Classics on Travel Channel, HBO Sports on HBO and "Super2ner" on TNN. Anna has acted in half a dozen independent films. She played Nicole Brown Simpson in a Japanese TV movie and a lead in a short film "Harmless" which appeared in 7 film festivals and won 2 awards. In her spare time, Anna enjoys traveling, rollerblading, ice-skating, scuba diving and driving fast. Anna also continues her work to help the world with non-profit organizations.
