About Carol-Ann Originally from New York, Carol-Ann moved to Los Angeles at the age of 15. Since she had already earned her theater chops on Broadway and graced just about every recording studio in NYC singing jingles for commercials and movies, Carol-Ann decided to give sunny California a try. About a year after her arrival, she landed a 3-year series regular spot on a FOX television series called Harry and the Hendersons. Carol-Ann says that although acting was a great experience, singing has always been her number one dream. She plays acoustic guitar and classical piano, graduated UCLA with a Bachelors degree in English Literature, and is currently a production manager for the television industry. As a songwriter, Carol-Ann is influenced most by Patty Griffin and John Hiatt. You can tell she's having fun up on stage. Her band feels it, her audience feels it, and there's no denying the passion of her music. Her lyrics are easy to relate to and her hooks are all too often engrained in your head. Her angelic voice fits right in with artists like Sarah Mclachlan and Jewel, and her captivating performance style has been compared to Sheryl Crow. Carol-Ann plays the acoustic guitar and classical piano, and can be seen singing in the LA area.
