About Elena Elena says, "I am an 18 year old Singer/Songwriter. My Grandfather is a World Renowned Symphony and Opera Conductor who was awarded the Handel Medallion by NYC which is the highest award for culture and the arts..other people awarded it are people like John Lennon and Marilyn Monroe. I grew up around music and I started singing Pop at about the age of 8. I started studying voice professionally at the age of 12 and began songwriting when I was 15. I am told I write power ballads....seems to be my thing. I also enjoy co-writing with other people. I wrote my song ’Dream About You’ when I was just 16. I really like all styles of music but my favorite to sing and peform is Pop. I love techno for dancing. I also choreograph dance and I love to draw and paint and even design handbags! I have been told that I have what it takes to possibly be one of the next big pop icons from some really great people in the biz...I’m really working toward that goal. My main goal is to get a major record deal, that is what I am hoping for and working toward. I’m told I can do it but I realize it’s going to take a lot of work and I’m willing to put it in...I’m also ready to be the next big thing ;-)).
I have a younger sister with Juvenile Diabetes and I intend to donate heavily to research and would love to be able to do a benefit concert for research one day.
