About Heather

Born and raised in the central valley farming town of Merced California, Heather has a deep appreciation for all that the land provides and respect for those working and caring for the farms and ranches that sustain us all. Heather is an accomplished hunter and fisher who has had the opportunity to experience these activities all over the western U.S., Canada and Alaska. Having participated in the harvesting of fish and game, and thus experiencing the exhilaration and sadness that this entails, Heather has achieved a balance and perspective that flows through all facets of her life, as well as a passion and depth that is evident in the songs that she co-writes and sings.

Heather Marie’s first performance took place when she was only six years old and she was the featured soloist for her church congregation. Her powerful and soulful rendition of Amazing Grace left the entire congregation of over three hundred people speechless and then they all stood as one and gave her a thunderous standing ovation. Since that time, Heather has performed at numerous choir functions as well as several community and county fairs from California to Alaska. The response has always been the same. People are amazed at the power and maturity of the voice they hear as well as the grace with which Heather carries herself. Having known forever that singing is the only vocation that would ever satisfy her, Heather is very exited about the opportunities that are coming her way.

Heather is presently working with a Nashville producer to develop a set of original songs that display her vocal talent and her ver vision of what a female country music singer should be. She is excited to be able to bring her unique perspective to the forefront, and feels that her ability and willingness to share all of the pieces of a life, from the most painful to the most joyous will resonate with country music fans everywhere. Rare is the individual that combines all of the pieces needed in order to capture the hearts and souls of the fans. Heather Marie is that type of performer.
