About Lindsey

You may recognize Lindsey Cardinale from the television phenomenon American Idol. Lindsey, praised by judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson for her smoky, sexy voice, survived over 15 auditions, and was an American Idol top twelve.

Lindsey grew up in the small town of Ponchatoula, just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. A four-wheeling, hunting, fishing aficiando, Lindsey considers herself a free spirit and country to the core. Lindsey was born on February 5, 1985, and began singing publicly at an early age at local events such as the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival. She then moved from performing on local stages to Branson, Missouri, Nashville and Memphis Tennessee, Atlanta, Georgia, all over Mississippi, and Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and Hollywood.

In addition to making a name for herself as an exceptional singer, this multi-talented beauty plays the guitar, drums and piano, and is currently working on the fiddle. Lindsey speaks very highly of her American Idol experience. It was an exhaustive process in which she gave her all for a year of her life.It was a process of preparing each week to sing new material, perform group numbers, shoot television commercials, attend red carpet events and interact with the press. The whirlwind of activity and publicity left Lindsey ready for much more.

Lindsey is currently the model/spokesperson for the Bill Hood Automotive Family. She also travels back and forth to Nashville to work with her Grammy Award winning Producer on her new Album. Lindsey says, "I may be from a small town, but this is my chance to show the world."
