Shawn
Shawn Richardz or Shawn Mon'e Richardz was born in Bronx, New York. At a young age, Shawn was in inspired by movies, television, music, and theater. Every aspect of entertainment fascinated her. Her father observed her big dreams and growing desires to reach for the stars. In turn, he handed her a copy of the biography of legendary actor Montgomery Clift. From that moment on, she read about every legendary actor from Jane Russell to Clark Gable, anyone who made a name for themselves, and started on the route the legendary actors had been on.
Shawn got involved in theater companies and immersed herself in her craft. New York City helped foster her love for the theater, which broadened her strengths, and ultimately led to independent films and national film festivals. Exposure via national commercials increased her opportunities, giving her the confidence to pursue her true dreams. Conquering her goals, also included, a one-way ticket to Los Angeles.
Upon her arrival in California, Shawn immediately began working. She booked leading roles starring opposite James Russo, Dana Carvey, Holland Taylor, and Blair Underwood. She hasn't looked back since; unless, of course to support her team the New York Yankees.
With her striking looks, trademark hair, and extraordinary and versatile talent, her New York work ethic has helped to strengthen her journey. Shawn has laughed at the title "Actress turned Model," since she has been involved in numerous modeling campaigns over the years. Commercials, hosting live events, and film and television, have all since been added to her reportage.
"In Los Angeles you are able to do it all," says Shawn. She plans on doing just that, easily and effortlessly: 'Shawn Richardz is Born to Win!'
