About Sonya

Sonya Rose is a freelance model, actor, and artist residing in New York City - working in the New York and Florida Markets.

Sonya was born in Rochester, Pennsylvania, a small town outside of Pittsburgh along the Ohio River. Her ethnicity is German, Swiss, Scottish, and English, born of an American father and German mother. Sonya has a BFA with a concentration in drawing and currently studying film and acting. Over the past several years, modeling has served as a wonderful release for Sonya and acting has reinforced that freedom for her. She has thrown herself into the profession with reckless abandon and is currently involved in film and television projects as lead and supporting talent. Sonya strives to breathe life into wonderful scripts and finish writing her own first script based on a true story in collaboration with her sister. Following her heart at all cost with numerous risks is the most amazing feeling that she has ever had. Perception, wisdom, wit, discipline, hard work, luck, passion, and purpose are the colors of Sonya's rainbow and her pot of gold is art: the art of modeling, acting, drawing, painting, and writing.
