About
Tina Originally from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Tina used to perform her own music around the various clubs in Cleveland. She also appeared on reknown radio station WMMS in Cleveland; the first station to play an album in its entirety. Tina's formal music training started at The Cleveland Institute of Music. She went on to finish school at Mannes College of Music and Julliard School of Music in New York. After realizing that there was little work for classically trained artists, she went back to songwriting and performing in the clubs around New York City. She was later seen and signed by Warner/Chappell Music. Inc. Tina's songs have been recorded by such artists as Sheena Easton, Donna Summer, Wendy Moten, and most recently Phoebe Snow. Celine Dion recorded "Love Is On The Way" for her 30 million selling album "Let's Talk About Love." "Love is On The Way" was also recorded by the renowned Billy Porter and was featured as the central ballad in the $100 million grossing film "The First Wives Club." Other songs have appeared in various television shows such as "One Life Life To Live" and "As The World Turns." Tina recently inked an exclusive international publishing deal with Artemis Music, a division of Warner Chappell. A great believer in bringing the work of songwriters to the public, Tina has run THE NEW YORK SONGWRITER'S CIRCLE for the past 10 years. The Circle has been a musical home to such artists as Lisa Loeb, Jill Sobule, Sixpence None The Richer, The Spin Doctors, Five time Grammy award winner Norah Jones, Grammy award winner Jesse Harris and Grammy award nominee Vanessa Carlton as well as legendary writers George David Weiss "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You," "What A Wonderful World," Hugh Prestwood, and Rodney Crowell, to name a few.
