About Valerie Valerie was born in Duncan on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and spent most of her life in rural towns in Alberta. She grew up as a small town country girl where life was not easy for she and her brother. Despite my country roots, Valerie has moved to the city seeking opportunities avaailable only in a big city. Valerie is sociable and outgoing. Sometimes, she is so talkative that people spend hours chatting with her. She is very generous and tends to want to help people by listening to them or giving the best advice possible. She believes that good things happen to good people. Valerie's caring and outgoing personality led to a career in the beauty industry, where she could make people beautiful and chat up a storm. Valerie's career took a turn to teaching in the beauty industry, and she opened and operated her own salon, which was very successful. After managing salons and competing in several hair shows, Valerie was encouraged to pursue acting and modeling by a wonderful woman, who became Valerie's agent. Being in the limelight of the beauty industry gave Valerie the confidence to pursue acting and modeling. Contact sports were always a favorite of Valerie, and led Valerie into an interest in stunt work. Valerie says,"I have always loved 'boy's games' such as hockey, hunting, all-terrain vehicles, firearms, and most of all, training with weights. I may appear to be a girlie girl, but there are many sides to me. I am inspired by Shania Twain, who kept her country heart on the way to the top.
