Statement of Ethics Any website meeting our basic eligibility criteria qualifies for review by our judges. We do not discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, nationality, religion or mental or physical handicap. We do not grant awards to websites that 1) violate the legal rights of people or animals (or promote such violation); 2) discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, national origin, religion, age or mental or physical handicap; or 3) promote hatred. Our judges evaluate sites under the evaluation criteria effective at the time we receive the applications for DG certification. Proposed changes in the criteria are posted for two weeks before the changes become active. We evaluate submitted sites within four weeks of receiving an application. With the exception of informing the public of our winning websites, we do not divulge any information about any applicant to persons, groups, or agencies not directly connected to our award program. We refrain from criticism unless specifically requested by an applicant. If an applicant requests comments, all critiques provided will be constructive. Our primary award graphic measures 100 pixels wide by 39 pixels high and weighs approximately 4k. Our secondary (or optional) graphic measures 153 wide by 100 pixels high and weighs approximately 6k. Upon the request of winning webmasters or site owners who would like to display a smaller version of the awards, we will reduce the size of the graphics.
