About Sonia Sonia started her modeling career before the age of 14 when she was scouted in school to make a TV Commercial for Seven-Up. The commercial became a big hit and Sonia became very popular - receiveing many offers to participate in fashion shows, movies and modeling shoots. Later, Sonia attended school in England where she worked with the "Storm" agency throughout most of her college years and did a L'Oreal ad for London. In 1995, she was nominated for best actress. After several years, she accepted a vacant position as VJ for MTV Asia. From 1998 to 1999, Sonia traveled, produced her own shows and experienced "stardom." Within the first 6 months with MTV, she signed a contract with L'Oreal Asia. Many more contracts followed. They included: Haagandass, Singapore; Singapore Telecom; Smart Telecom, Philippines; Nikon Camera, Asia; Doritos 3D, Thailand; Spy TV, Thailand; Honda Home Video, Thailand & Japan; Clairol, International; Secrets, Thailand & Philippines; and RADO, where she was chosen to be their ambassador. In 1998, Sonia was voted in FHM magazine's top 12 and appeared in their 1999 calendar. In 1999, she was voted as the 2nd sexiest woman in Asia by FHM and later as the 23rd sexiest in the world. This was unexpected and amusing for her to think about. Currently, Sonia has set up a store in Siam that sells modern lifestyle accessories. Also, she hosts a game show.
