About Tasha Tasha is a professional actress, model and motivational speaker who promotes ethnic diversity and volunteerism in the community. In addition, she maintains an academic scholarship at Arizona State University. She is an advocate and spokesperson for various charities such as the One Safe School Foundation, American Cancer Society, and Chicanos Por la Causa. In addition, Tasha works with other foundations that express the morals and values she belives in. Tasha strong feels that she is obligated as a leader in society to make a difference in people's lives. Tasha has appeared on television and in films on MTV, CBS, NBC, ABC, Columbia Pictures, and AMC. Her full resume is available at her website. The September, 2004 issue of Shape magazine features her in some editorial shots. Tasha's titles of Miss Hispanic and Miss Arizona in the same year was a phenomenal accomplishment, as was her inclusion in the Miss USA competition. But Tasha is always looking to better herself. As a good friend once told her, "Know your limits and blow them away." Her goals include continuing to work in front of the camera, and also behind the camera as a director. Tasha's experiences inspired her to create the book Ready, Set, Go for your Goals, which she distributes to children throughout Arizona. She speaks to all grade levels in school to promote strong morals and volunteerism because she want to create more goal-oriented, strong young leaders. It is Tasha's goal to be a mentor to young people who don't have role models to look up to.
